first_img Previous articleClosing CommentsNext articleProgram Provides Expert Guidance On Soybean Irrigation, Yield Issues Hoosier Ag Today Home Indiana Agriculture News Livestock grants awarded to 15 organizations Livestock grants awarded to 15 organizations SHARE By Hoosier Ag Today – Feb 16, 2016 Facebook Twitter SHARE Facebook Twitter Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA) awarded $127,000 in livestock grant funding to 15 nonprofit organizations to fund projects that will foster growth within the Hoosier livestock industry. Total funding requested was $262,600. “These grants become more competitive every year as more people become aware of this funding opportunity, and we enjoy seeing the new and innovative ideas that are submitted,” ISDA Director Ted McKinney said. “The projects selected represent those that will have the greatest impact and that transcend the livestock industry.
